Its botanical backbone is an extract of common andrographis (Andrographis paniculata), proven in clinical trials to demonstrate a significant reduction for severity of symptoms and duration of common colds.
Cold & Flu boasts extracts of six traditional alternative medicine stalwarts that include astragalus, goldenseal, European elderberry, echinacea, rosemary, and myrrh, which collectively strengthen immune-system performance.
Suggested Use
Adults:
Take 1 capsule daily with food, beginning at the onset of cold symptoms, or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Take for 4 to 5 days to see results.
Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 10 days.
Cautions
- Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have an auto-immune disorder; if you are taking immunosuppressants; if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection; if you have a kidney disorder, diabetes, or if you have blood pressure problems. Consumption of Goldenseal with alcohol, other medications and/or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. If you are taking blood thinners, consult a health care practitioner prior to use.
