Ribes Nigrum stimulates and supports the adrenal glands. Clinically, it is very useful as a complementary remedy for a number of ailments that become chronic due to adrenal failure. Ribes Nigrum's anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory activities are acute and sub-acute. It activates the reticulo-conjunctive support tissue of the gland, thus allowing glandular stimulation in patients who have been on a prolonged course of corticosteroids. This remedy is also indicated for conditions such as allergies, chronic head colds, asthma, rhinitis, bronchitis, gastritis, emphysema, migraine headaches, arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, prostate problems, dysmenorrhea, fibroma, urticaria, Addison's disease, adrenal atrophy and infections.
Formula
Medicinal ingredients : - Ribes nigrum (Black Currant—Bud) 1 X
Gemmotherapies are prepared in a glycerine, and alcohol solution then filtered and potentized @ a 1/10th dilution in pure water.
Recommended Dosage
Adults: 50 drops (1/2 teaspoon) one to three times a day.
Children under 12: 15 to 25 drops one to three times a day.
