Contrary to what one might think, it is not spicy. Jamaican pepper gives a sweet and fragrant taste.
Suggested Use
Add it to your recipes and grind it just before use if you want to accentuate its flavor. It gives off a flavor of pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves at the same time, hence the other name we know it: four spices. It is very resistant to long cooking. There is therefore no downside to heating this spice.

Store in a closed container in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
