This formula is designed to attempt to down-regulate pathological mechanisms underway in the kidney and other tissues during times of diabetes, hypertension and post inflammatory states where sclerosing and/or scaring are part of the pathology. Sclerosing is not only an issue in the diabetic and hypertensive kidney but also in the lupus kidney, hydronephrosis, post inflammatory kidney e.g. IgA nephropathy, post-streptococcal nephropathy. It may be applicable for any other tissue that may have a fibro-inflammatory or scarring feature to its characteristics i.e. IgG4-related diseases.
