Recommended Use
Take 1/2 to 1 teaspoonful (2.5-5 mL) 2 to 4 times daily with water. Children should only use one-half the recommended amount.
Cautions
- Hypersensitivity/allergy may occur; in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience insomnia, anxiety, or headaches, in which case, discontinue use. May cause drowsiness, use caution if driving or operating heavy machinery.
- Do not use if you are pregnant/breastfeeding or if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure or a cardiovascular disorder. Do not use if you are taking barbiturates, sedatives, thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. TCM Contraindications: According to TCM, do not use in cases of yin deficiency with heat signs, heat excess, or in the absence of significant qi deficiency; If you have excess heat, yin-deficient fire, or bleeding caused by heat in the blood, do not use; Do not use In those with stomach cold, or in those with deficiency of the spleen or stomach; Do not use in cases of liver fire and wind-stroke.
