Clinical indications:
For terrain improvement in cases that manifest themselves through heaviness of the lower limbs (with orwithout swelling), inflammation of the circulatory system with likely thrombotic involvement, and circulatory stasis. This complex is also intended as a preparative measure in cases of vascular wall infringement when the former must be rejuvenated.
Therapeutic action:
- Betula alba(White birch) –sap):
Birch sap provides the foundational elements of the treatment. Recognised for its richness in potassium, this sap supports the diuretic effect of the birch bud as well as the renewal of intracellular fluids. This restoration of bodily fluids helps restore, not only the body’ acid-base balance but its redox balance as well. Its anti-inflammatory capacity also supports the effects of the blackcurrant buds.
Betula alba(White birch –buds):
- Birch buds complement the diuretic action of the birch sap. Ph. Andrianne prescribes it in cases of thrombophlebitis, vasculitis, and arteritis with thrombotic involvement. It also affects heart valves and helps reduce lymphatic stasis. Its draining action on the liver has beenwidely studied by Dr Henry, who found that it supports the detoxifying effect of the SEVE complex; thus helping the body regain lipid purity (ohm value –adequate resistivity).
- Ribes nigrum(Black currant):
- Blackcurrant buds have a phlebotonic action at the circulatory level. They have a vasoconstrictive property on capillaries, especially on venous capillaries, which can have an invigorating effect on the venous system and improve venous return.
- Castanea vesca(Sweet chesnut):
- Chestnut helps revive the circulatory system, with special attention to the lymphatic system. By promoting lymphatic drainage, these buds prove an excellent remedy for congestive phenomena, such as varicose veins, phlebitis, stasis, oedema, and feelings of heaviness.
- Sorbus domestica(Service-tree):
- A venous anti-inflammatory, this extract complements the arterial anti-inflammatory properties of the poplar bud extract. is a top venous circulation regulator. Though it as an ambiguous action at the thromboelastographic level, it has a highly fluidifying action on blood viscosity. Sorbus also supports chestnut’s effect on lymphatic stasis.
- Populus nigra (Poplar):
- This bud is an excellent arterial drainer. It simultaneously provides an anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, and anti-sclerotic action on the arteries. Through its anti-atherosclerotic action, especially on the lower limbs, the poplar bud helps develop a dynamic blood flow and influences all collateral circulation.
