Suggested Use

1 to 4 tablets per meal, depending on its content of protein and/or fat, and how weak the person's digestion is (usually a function of age). Take ULTRAGEST immediately after a meal.

Cautions

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have a peptic ulcer or excess stomach acid, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have a gastrointestinal lesion/ulcer, are taking an anticoagulant/ blood thinner or an anti-inflammatory, or are having surgery, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health care practitioner. If you have diabetes, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency or cystic fibrosis, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have allergy to latex or fruits (such as avocado, banana, chestnut, passion fruit, fig, melon, mango, kiwi, pineapple, peach, and tomato), consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have anaemia. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have gallstones.
• If you are sensitive to pancreatic enzymes, do not use this product. If you are sensitive to pork proteins, do not use this product.
• Hypersensitivity/allergy to protease, papain and stem bromelain have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain/epigastric pain and/or heartburn have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use (and consult a health care practitioner).
