Lecithin is found in every living cell, with its highest concentrations in the body being in the vital organs – brain, heart, liver and kidneys. Lecithin plays an important role in nourishing brain cells. In the brain, lecithin is transformed into acetylcholine, a vital compound for the transmission of nerve messages. Lecithin breaks up cholesterol so that it can be transported easily through the blood; this promotes heart health. It also contributes to metabolizing saturated fats found in the liver, which reduces the possibility of liver degeneration. Trophic Super Lecithin capsules contain 1250 mg of pure liquid lecithin, plus Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Calcium and Magnesium. Calcium compensates for the high phosphorus content of lecithin. Magnesium and Vitamin B6 aid in the assimilation of lecithin and the absorption of calcium.
