Containing two extremely valuable antioxidants, Selenium + E contains organic selenium and natural vitamin E synergistically combined for maximizing their potential in the prevention and management of cellular free radical damage. An essential component of glutathione peroxidase, Selenium is an enzyme which reduces toxic hydrogen peroxide from within cells. Glutathione peroxidase is lacking in individuals with jaundice, schizophrenia, diabetes, alcoholism and cancer.
