NAC helps to increase levels of glutathione, considered the ”master antioxidant” in the body and an important part of your cold defence system. Boosted by NAC, glutathione helps protect your lungs against respiratory illness. NAC also decreases the frequency of flare-ups and symptoms of chronic bronchitis.
Suggested Use
To help relieve symptoms of chronic bronchitis:
- Adults :
Take 1–2 capsules daily or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Take with a meal that contains proteins.
To help reduce symptoms of respiratory infection and support the immune system for those over 65 or suffering from chronic degenerative diseases:
- Adults :
Take 2 capsules daily or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Take with a meal that contains proteins.
Cautions
- Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking nitroglycerin or blood thinning medications.
- Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have acetylcysteine allergy. Do not use if you suffer from cystinuria / cystine kidney stones.
