Natural Factors MenoPause Formula is designed to help balance hormone levels and reduce the unpleasant symptoms associated with menopause and perimenopause. It also helps soothe nervous tension, relieve pain associated with neuralgia (such as sciatica), and relieves muscle and joint pain associated with rheumatic conditions (such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and/or fibrosis).
Chosen specifically for their hormone-balancing actions, the herbs in MenoPause Formula exert a calming effect on symptoms related to menopause. Black cohosh eases hot flashes, night sweats, heart palpitations, and vaginal cell thinning. Vitex agnus-castus, also known as chaste tree berry, helps restore the balance of estrogen and progesterone and the timing of hormone cycles. Hops also helps balance estrogen levels, and is a classic herb for soothing the nerves, helping with insomnia and anxiety. The phytoestrogens in licorice balance reproductive hormones and stimulate low adrenal function, while wild yam contains the well-known phytoestrogen diosgenin, and has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and nerve relaxing properties.
Each herb in MenoPause Formula is standardized to ensure purity and potency of key plant actives for the most effective relief of symptoms. Women can use this formula from 30 years of age onwards and for many years following menopause.

Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if you are breastfeeding. Do not use if you have hormone sensitive conditions such as uterine, endometrial, breast, or ovarian cancer as well as endometriosis and uterine fibroids. Do not use if you have a protein S deficiency as wild yam may increase the risk of thrombosis.
