Product Details
M.F. Bromelain® is a mixture of proteolytic (protein-digesting) enzymes from pineapple. It helps to reduce bruising and swelling, to promote healing after trauma or surgery and to promote resorption rate of hematomas.
Suggested Use
Take 2 capsules one to three times daily or as recommended by a health-care practitioner.
Ingredients
Two Capsules Contain:
Medicinal Ingredients: - Bromelain* 1 g
Other Ingredients: Hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, Leucine, Silicon Dioxide.
*Bromelain is derived from the pineapple plant (Ananas comosus). This product is not diluted with lactose.
Cautions
This product is contraindicated in an individual with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.
If pregnant, consult your health-care practitioner before using this product.
Because bromelain has fibrinolytic effects that may potentially inhibit blood clotting, M.F. Bromelain should be used with caution or avoided in individuals on anticoagulant therapy or prior to surgery.
It is not recommended to remove the M.F. Bromelain powder from the capsule to take orally, as it can be irritating to the oral mucosa.
