The fructo-oligo-saccharides (FOS) ensure rapid establishment of the Lactobacilli in the upper small intestine and bifido bacteria in the lower small intestine. The source of FOS in the HMF super powder is from the whole freeze-dried apricot. The apricot is used for its soothing effect on the intestinal walls (and great flavor in the powders).
Recommended Dose:
Adults and Children (1 year and older): In a glass, add water to one scoop (¼ teaspoon) of HMF Powder and mix. Take two times daily with meals, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
Risk Information:
If you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain; or if you have an immunecompromised condition, do not use. If symptoms of digestive upset occur, worsen or persist beyond three days, discontinue use and consult your healthcare practitioner.

HMF Powder is a moderate-level maintenance probiotic formula which provides two strains of proprietary human-sourced Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis, along with fructooligosaccharides. HMF Powder is indicated for the promotion and maintenance of intestinal health in adults and children alike.
HMF Powder is composed of 50% acidophilus (2 specialized strains) and 50% bifidobacterium (2 strains). Each type of organism works in a different part of the GI.
