Characteristics and function

This formula was originally meant to be an immune system prophylactic, but has come to play a much more central role in clinical practice. With Echinacea, Vitamin C and Beta-carotene, it is easy to see why it is excellent for the immune system. A person who is at high risk of catching a cold or flu (e.g. teacher, practitioner, service provider, etc.) should take 2 tablets, twice daily, going into the flu season (fall and spring). We have found this formula to be useful this way as an immune prophylactic. Many people feel that Echinacea loses its immune-potentiating quality if taken for more than 20 days. Both clinical experience and scientific studies have shown that this is not the case. Many of the ingredients in this formula are beneficial for wound-healing and for the skin and connective tissues. This has led to the use of this formula in a much broader context: skin, eye issues, post-operative recovery and related health areas. Beta-carotene and Vitamin C are well known as antioxidants and for protecting the skin from the harshness of the sun. Several hormonal and reproductive functions are supported by Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and zinc.

Directions

Two tablets, twice daily or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.
